1. Policy Statement
Day Impex Ltd is committed to preventing modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, and exploitation in any part of our business or supply chains. We uphold the highest standards of ethics and integrity and take a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, suppliers, service providers, and business partners of Day Impex Ltd. It covers all operations within the UK and any international activities related to our procurement, manufacturing, distribution, and service functions.

• To comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and all relevant legislation
• To identify and mitigate modern slavery risks within our operations and supply chains
• To raise awareness and provide training to staff on identifying potential risks
• To conduct due diligence and assess our suppliers for ethical labour practices
• To ensure transparency in our business and our approach to tackling modern slavery
4. Risk Assessment and Due Diligence
Day Impex Ltd undertakes regular assessments of suppliers and service providers based on risk factors such as:
• Geographic location
• Industry sector
• Nature of goods or services provided
• Use of subcontractors or agency workers
We conduct due diligence through supplier assessments, certifications, audits, and contractual obligations to ensure they adhere to ethical labour practices.
5. Supplier Code of Conduct
All suppliers and contractors are expected to:
• Comply with local and international labour laws
• Provide safe and fair working conditions
• Prohibit forced, bonded, or involuntary labour
• Not engage in or tolerate child labour
• Allow freedom of movement and association
Failure to comply may result in the termination of the business relationship.

• Understand the signs of modern slavery
• Know how to report concerns internally or externally
• Carry out procurement responsibilities with vigilance and ethical oversight
7. Reporting Concerns
Day Impex Ltd encourages employees, suppliers, and third parties to report any concerns or suspicions of modern slavery via:
• Line manager or HR representative
• Anonymous reporting system (if applicable)
• External whistleblowing channels where necessary
All reports will be taken seriously and investigated in line with our company procedures. There will be no retaliation against those who report in good faith.
8. Monitoring and Review
This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect legal, industry, and organisational changes. The Senior Management Team is responsible for ensuring its effectiveness and implementation.
