Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy

1. Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to set out Day-Impex Ltd’s commitment to conducting business in an ethical, transparent, and lawful manner. The company has zero tolerance for bribery and corruption in any form.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all employees, directors, contractors, suppliers, agents, and any third parties acting on behalf of Day-Impex Ltd.
3. Policy Statement
Bribery: Offering, promising, giving, requesting, or accepting any financial or other advantage with the intention of improperly influencing a decision is strictly prohibited.
Corruption: Abuse of entrusted power for personal or business gain will not be tolerated.
Gifts & Hospitality: Modest, proportionate, and lawful gifts or hospitality may be acceptable, but anything intended to influence a business decision is prohibited.
Third Parties: Day-Impex Ltd will not engage in business with suppliers, agents, or partners who are known or suspected to engage in bribery or corruption.
Compliance with Law: This policy complies with the UK Bribery Act 2010 and all other applicable anti-corruption legislation.
4. Responsibilities
Employees: Must not offer or accept bribes, must declare any conflicts of interest, and must report any suspicious activity.
Managers: Ensure compliance, provide guidance, and monitor employee conduct.
Compliance Officer / HR:Maintain oversight, provide training, and
ensure policy enforcement.
5.Reporting & Whistleblowing
Employees must immediately report any suspected bribery or corruption to their line manager or compliance officer.
Reports will be treated confidentially and investigated promptly.
Day-Impex Ltd prohibits retaliation against individuals who report concerns in good faith.
6. Training & Awareness
All employees will receive training on this policy during induction and regular refresher training.
Suppliers and contractors will be made aware of Day-Impex Ltd’s zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption.
7. Breach of Policy
Any employee who breaches this policy may face disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal.
Day-Impex Ltd may terminate relationships with suppliers, contractors, or third parties who breach this policy.
Serious breaches may also lead to legal action.
8. Monitoring & Review
The Compliance Officer will monitor adherence to this policy.
This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect changes in law or business operations.
